While waiting for the official figures to be released.
I am exploring some possible proxy troops and other period looking troop types.
I found that Eureka Miniatures had a line for the early WWII Philippines, this line included 1941 U.S. Sailors and officers.
These became the start of my 1910 Navy.
Luckily the uniforms did not change too much. Including a neckerchief was the main trick.

This made a nice Royal Canadian Mounted Police. The Mounties
