The figures where cleaned and glued to fender washers
The area across the top of the washer was filled in with a mixture of fine pumice media and texture sand.
The figures were then given a coat of white spray primer.
After that the painting was very simple.
One can see how the painting fixtures hold the figures secure with a magnet.
Getting started with several shades of brown. Latter I discovered that black for shoues was more appropriate.
