DyeHard's Wargame Terrain

Strange Organic Matter

I wish I could tell you exactly what this, but i got it as part of a large lot of terrain materials I got from another modeler. It appears to be many fine roots that have grown through a dense mat of decomposing tree bark. Well whatever its origin, it will work well to model the forest floor of a forest. The fine roots look like fallen branches and the decomposed bark will work was duff. My only disappointment is the uniformity of color.

Here we see my attempt to shift this matter. The sample had a great deal of very fine dust, which was very irritating to my noise and eyes.

I will report more on this as I learn how it can be used.
