This is the first guitar I ever owned.
It sounds like the lyrics to an old Blue's song,
but I found this guitar on a trash heap on my way back from school one day. I pulled it out and showed it to some friends. They said I should put it back in the trash were it belonged. But I just had a good feeling about this Kalamazoo. I strung it with fishing line and tuned it based on playing the fingering pattern to a song that some friends taught me (on a working guitar).

So you can see that I was faited to play guitar.
As it turns out this is a rare 1930's Kalamazoo KG-14 made by Gibson.
When I found it, it was in very poor shape, hence the trash heap.
Sadly in my youthful enthusiasm I refinished it. Which shot any collector's appeal. I also had to re-glue the back and stabilize a nasty crack. But despite it being my first even guitar repair job, it can out sounding and playing pretty well.
Someday, I hope to go back and give it a proper re-working.

This is my oldest guitar. It dates back to at least the 1890s.
I did not dare string it with steal strings, even if it was designed for it. The nylon strings give it a very warm if not to powerful sound. Also playing action of nylon is vary nice.
