We had to get an early start to avoid the heat. That means 4 am here. The big advantage was to get to see the Sun rise over
the desert each day. Most of us will were very busy scurrying about to get our equipment up and working. Thankfully, someone
had the presence of mind to take a photo. Part of my experiment was to monitor the effect of temperature change on the
infarred background. Hard to beat the temperature change from night to day in the desert. From 60 F to 110 F over the
time of the experiment.
