The Espingol
The evolution of the Espingol rockets parallel that of bullets during the same time. Starting as simple round shot with a fuse hole to allow the burn of propellent to progress from rocket to rocket in sequence from muzzle towards the breach of the Espingol. With experience the flight distance and accuracy of the rockets were improved.
Other technical improvements included the teaming of multiple launch tubes to allow for more continuous fire or more intense volleys.
